Tour Details
Day 1 – Arrival in Florence and Transfer to Tuscan Countryside
Upon arrival you will be greeted by your driver at Florence Airport and transferred to your charming agriturismo outside Cortona. Night in Tuscan countryside
Day 2 – Cortona
Today you will be transferred to Cortona and enjoy a private half day guided tour of this charming town, that became famous for the movie “Under the Tuscan Sun” which was mainly filmed there and in its surroundings. Night in Tuscan countryside
Day 3 – Montepulciano and Montalcino Wine tastings
Today you will make a first stop in Montepulciano where you will enjoy a wine tasting (including the renowned Vino Nobile di Montepulciano) at a local winery. You will also have time to stroll around and enjoy the town’s upbeat atmosphere. Your second stop will be Pienza, another charming village, famous for its pecorino cheese. Last stop, but not least, is in the area of Montalcino to visit a family-owned historical cellar and taste some of their best wines, including Brunello di Montalcino, paired with local specialties. Day 4 – Trasimeno Lake and Olive Oil Tasting
Today you will be transferred to Trasimeno Lake, a true natural paradise located in Umbria, right on the border with Tuscany, and home to wild ducks, cormorants, and many other species of birds. This area is also very important for the production of olive oil. You will visit a local mill and taste some of the best oils of the area while learning all about the process of making an excellent “extra virgin olive oil”. Night in Tuscan countryside
Day 5 – Cooking Class
Today you will enjoy a nice typical Tuscan cooking class followed by lunch. You will learn how to make fresh pasta and some local specialties at a family run agriturismo. Night in Tuscan countryside
Day 6 – Transfer to Florence
This morning you will be transferred to Florence. Upon arrival, you will have time to start exploring the city on own. Night in Florence
Day 7 – Florence
This morning, your local guide will meet you at the hotel and take you on a walking tour of Florence, including a visit at the David by Michelangelo, kept inside the Accademia Museum.

Day 8 – Fast train to Naples
This morning you will catch a fast train to Naples.Upon arrival in Naples your driver will transfer you to Sorrento. Night on the Sorrento Hills
Day 9 – Capri
Today you will enjoy a semi-private boat trip to Capri and discover the island. You will leave Sorrento in the morning and go back mid afternoon. Night on the Sorrento Hills
Day 10 – Pizza Making
Today you will take part of a pizza making class followed by lunch at a family owned agriturismo by your hotel. Night on the Sorrento Hills
Day 11 – Amalfi Coast
Your driver will pick you up in the morning and take you on an exploration of the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. You will make a stop in Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi then return to Sorrento in the afternoon. Night on the Sorrento Hills
Day 12 – Pompei
This morning you will be transferred to Naples. En route, you will make a stop to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Pompei, an ancient Roman city that was destroyed and buried under volcanic ash and pumice in 79 AD when Mount Vesuvius erupted. The city was preserved remarkably well, providing unique insights into Roman life and architecture. Night in Naples
Day 13 – Naples
Today you will enjoy a nice food tour of Naples. While tasting local specialties, you will learn all about this complex, unique city and appreciate its art, history, and local traditions. Night in Naples
Day 14 – Flight from Naples back home
Today you will be transferred to Naples Airport to catch your flight back home
