Upon arrival at the airport in Abu Dhabi early in the morning, your driver and guide (Italian-speaking) will meet you at arrivals and take you on a tour of Abu Dhabi. You will visit: the Al Zayed Grand Mosque both inside and outside, the Louvre, the Emirates Palace and Qasr al Watan (the presidential palace), all from the outside, the “Corniche” and the Abrahamic Family House (a place where a mosque, a Catholic church and a synagogue coexist that can also be visited inside; the only place in the world of its kind), and other iconic places in the UAE capital. In the afternoon, at the end of the tour, return to the hotel in Dubai. Night in Dubai
Day 2 – Old and New Dubai
In the morning, your driver and guide (Italian-speaking) will pick you up from your hotel to begin your tour of old and new Dubai. You will visit: the Palm, Burj Al Arab (from the outside), Bastakiya (crossing a waterway with the Abra, which is a typical local boat), then stop at the gold and spice market. The guided tour will continue in the new part of Dubai among skyscrapers and futuristic new buildings and end in Downtown near the Burj Khalifa where you will greet your guide (to date the tallest building in the world at 828 meters and its dancing fountains). If you are interested in climbing the skyscraper, you must purchase your ticket online well in advance and choose your time slot; the visit will be on your own without a guide. Towards evening you will witness the unmissable spectacle of the dancing fountains just below the Burj Khalifa. You can return to your hotel conveniently from Dubai Mall by subway in a few stops; your hotel will be just a few meters from a subway stop. Night in Dubai
Day 3 – Desert Safari
Today you will enjoy a free morning in Dubai. In the early afternoon, (2pm) drivers will pick you up from your hotel and you will depart in 4×4 Jeeps to the Emirates desert where you will dune bashing in the dunes, camel riding, sand boarding, and amazing sunset photos, henna making, and admiring the Emirates hawks. You will enjoy the desert sky during your BBQ dinner with 3 available cuisines prepared by the Michelin 2024 guide Al Khaima Heritage Restaurant (Middle Eastern, Emirati and Asian including unlimited water and soft drinks – alcohol not available) in the Bedouin desert camp, and you can watch live Arabic bread and coffee making. After dinner there will be a folkloric performance of local music and dance, and before returning to your hotel in Dubai you can participate in a Star Watching session. The excursion lasts from about 2 to 10 pm. Night in Dubai
Day 4 – Day Trip to Oman and its Musandam Peninsula
Early in the morning after breakfast a driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you toward the Oman border (about a 2-hour drive) to reach the Musandam Peninsula, famous for its fjords and crystal-clear waters. In the morning you will board a dhow (the typical Omani boat) for a mini-cruise through the fjords. During the cruise you will make several stops for swimming and snorkelling, and, if you are lucky, you will meet the friendly Omani dolphins. You will also visit fishing villages, and land on small islets. On board you will enjoy a typical Omani buffet lunch, fresh fruit, tea, Omani coffee, and soft drinks. You will disembark before sunset and your driver will take you back to Dubai directly to your hotel. Night in Dubai
Day 5 – Free Time in Dubai
Today you will enjoy a free day in Dubai that you can spend at the pool, doing the last of your shopping, exploring Dubai Marina, or relaxing at one of the many golden beaches or some beach clubs. Optional activities that you can arrange in advance include a sunrise hot-air balloon flight over the UAE desert, a visit to the Museum of the Future, or you can relax with a breathtaking view at one of the world’s highest Infinity Pools! Day 6 – Flight Back Home
Today your driver will pick you at the hotel and transfer you to the airport to catch your flight back home.
